What are the duties?
Report to work at the designated time.
Prepare the polling place for voting.
Set up the voting equipment.
Process the voters.
Demonstrate voting procedures to the voters.
Close the polling place at 9:00 PM.
Canvass and report the results.
Will I be paid?
Yes, by the municipality in which you work.
Am I eligible? Yes if you:
Are a registered voter in Schenectady County.
Are enrolled in either the Democratic or Republican Parties.
