Modern day election campaigns are expensive, even at the local level. Signs, ads, phones, flyers, stamps -- all cost money. All candidates contribute generously of their own money, but our Party tries its best to help out. Small contributions from our rank and file are particularly gratifying, as are larger contributions from those so inclined. To give to a particular candidate, check his or her home page to see if they list a campaign treasurer. To give to the Party so as to help the whole slate, please send your contributions to our Treasurer, Bill Kasper, at 831 Maxwell Drive, Niskayuna, NY 12309. Checks for the party should be made out to the "Schenectady County Democratic Committee".

You can also contribute by attending fund raising events. Unlike campaigns for state and national office, local campaigns are usually funded entirely by small donotations and by the candidates themselves.
